About Sheila
Sheila Whittam gained a BVA/Honours at ACSA in 2008. With emphasis on narrative abstraction, and as a recent finalist in art awards (The Heysen and National Capital Art Prize,) the main themes are journeys of the soul.
Sheila’s passion is to assist creativity in her church, so she initiated a ministry entitled “Finding Meaning in Making” at HBC Aldgate in 2012. Participants find their own heart-inspiration through journaling and seeking a “personal still, small voice”, then creating art work. Sheila has held 24 solo exhibitions in galleries in SA and Victoria, including BMG art and Hahndorf Academy.
